Become a TestingCup Conference Speaker

Submission deadline: 21-02-2019

TestingCup 2019 will be in Poznań, Poland on 10-11 June 2019.

Join our program to bring your ideas to Europe’s most enthusiastic testing audience.

We’re looking for talks on any testing-related subject. We’ll favour talks that offer personal experience, usable lessons, hard evidence, mind-opening ideas, transferrable management, specific techniques and inspiring vision.
We welcome hands-on experiential sessions – especially if you’re experimenting with Mr Buggy 2018.

Presenters receive a ticket to the full event, support before the conference, travel and accommodation, and all the kudos that comes with being a speaker.

We aim to select a wide-ranging program to fascinate anyone connected with testing.

Conference runs 10 to 11 June at the Poznań International Fair. The TestingCup Competition, with an all-new Mr Buggy, will run in the first morning of the Conference.

We look forward to reading your submissions!

Hello! I want you to join us in Poznań in June for TestingCup 2019.

The first time I went to TestingCup, in a vast room within the National Stadium in Warsaw, I was stunned to see hundreds of testers, testing. They were competing for the TestingCup; the organisers had built a software target, found and configured hundreds of identical PCs, and were about to stay up all night and into the next day reading bugs and comparing test reports. Their ambition blew me away – and it gives the rest of the conference a unique edge.

Testing Cup is filled with with ideas and conversations – but it’s also a conference filled with action, with people who want to take all these words and connections and to make something happen.

It’s an energetic and enthusiastic audience, and if you feel that you have something to say about testing, you’ll want to put your ideas in front of them. Our CfP is open now, and closes soon; on February 15th.

We won’t ask you to squeeze your talk into a theme – so long as it’s true, and relevant to testing, we’re interested. I’ve put some ideas below to get you started, and you’ll also find guidelines for how we’ll select talks, and speaker compensation. We will pick great topics and fine speakers, and I expect that we’ll take a risk or two. Help us to build a great program; send us your proposals now. I can’t wait to read them.

We aim to put together a rich and diverse collection of talks that resonate and build into two days of competition, conversation and fascination. Whether you want to be a TestingCup competitor, volunteer, participant, or speaker, I hope you will join us in Poznań on 10 and 11 June 2019.
How we choose

We’ll read through your abstracts with the names turned off, selecting a long list of interesting topics and excellent approaches before we look at you, your supporting materials or your reputation.

Once we’ve identified the best submissions, we’ll choose a program covering a wide range of topics and approaches, from a diverse selection of speakers to suit a diverse audience.

We hope to inspire new voices to share their experiences, and encourage well-known speakers to give us a novel take on their subjects.
